The inception of AIDA is a beautiful story that began its journey one evening. Indian restaurant in Sydney, where three dentists of Indian origin, with hearts full of passion, came together over a few drinks. As they shared their experiences, they realised there was a deep shared need to bring dental professionals of Indian heritage together under one roof a space where learning, growth, and development could flourish, but most importantly, where a sense of camaraderie and belonging could be nurtured.

 

From this heartfelt conversation came AIDA, a community built on empathy, support, and shared values. The acronym GIVE holds a special place in our hearts, representing Growth, Inspiration, Vision, and Empowerment. It’s a reflection of our deep commitment to support dental professionals, no matter where they are in their journey, whether they’re just beginning or have already established themselves in their careers.

 

At the core of AIDA is the sincere desire to give back to the community that has given so much to each of us. As professionals of Indian heritage, we carry a profound gratitude for the opportunities we’ve had, and that gratitude drives us to offer our knowledge, skills, and love back to the country and the people we hold dear.
